Yokohama Tire Corporation鈥檚 latest installment of its consumer education-focused video series 鈥 鈥淭ire Tips鈥 鈥 features an updated version of how to read a tire鈥檚 sidewall. The video, , is the seventh edition in the series that began in 2010.
鈥淯nderstanding the information on the sidewall of a tire is very important for selecting the appropriate replacement tire,鈥 said Fred Koplin, Yokohama director of marketing communications. 鈥淗owever, many consumers are not familiar with what the sidewall markings mean. By explaining them, the video educates viewers so they can more confidently make informed tire purchases.鈥
Koplin said future Tire Tips videos will continue to provide suggestions to consumers on ways to get the most out of their tires.
